Michel was named CFO of KIO Data Centers in August 2025. He brings more than 25 years of international experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Over the past 8 years, he led major strategic initiatives at Millicom (TIGO), including its listing on Nasdaq, the sale of more than 7,000 towers to SBA Communications, the acquisition of Movistar in Colombia, and the merger with Liberty Costa Rica, among other transactions. Prior to Millicom, Michel was an Equity Research Analyst covering LATAM TMT at Morgan Stanley, Barclays, and Merrill Lynch, having begun his career with Accenture in Canada. Michel is a CFA Charterholder and is fluent in French and Spanish.
