Peter Nulsen is a Managing Director at Generate Capital in New York City. He leads Generate’s on-site power investment strategy and co-leads the firm’s data center energy investment strategy. Since joining Generate in 2015, Peter has led investments in fuel cells, microgrids, stationary energy storage, and clean transportation, and has executed over $1.5 billion in sustainable infrastructure transactions.
Prior to Generate, Peter worked in General Electric’s Energy business, holding commercial finance roles in both the United States and the U.K., as well as serving in GE Energy Financial Services, where he focused on investments in solar and energy storage assets. He also worked for a solar energy developer, supporting project finance, development, and panel procurement. Peter holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Georgetown University, where he was recognized as a Baker Scholar.
